* 45 - 120 individuals/m2 for Giant tiger prawn (Penaeus monodon)
* 75 - 200 individuals/m2 for Whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)
Productivity: 7-12 tons/ha
Pumps are installed at the ponds in order to create flows to prevent wastes to from soaking into pond bottom, breaking water dividing, increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water and gathering solid waste to central pond.
