·         Tổng hợp các vật liệu nano và nanocomposites dựa trên các thành phần như: polymers, metals, metal oxides, carbon nanotubes, graphene.

·         Các ứng dụng của vật liệu nanocomposites cho: supercapacitors, photocatalyst, sensors, antibacterials,...

·         Ứng dụng của chất lỏng ion (ionic liquids) và CO2 siêu tới hạn (supercritical carbon dioxide) trong tổng hợp vật liệu.
